The Cairnmillar Institute is a private community-based provider of psychological services. The organisation is currently entering a new phase in its development as it approaches its 50th year.


Associate Professor of Counselling and Psychotherapy


The Cairnmillar Institute School of Counselling and Psychotherapy wishes to appoint an Associate Professor to lead the future development of the School. The successful candidate will possess a demonstrated record of academic leadership in education, research and regulation. Appropriate qualifications and professional registrations are required, including membership of the APS Counselling or Clinical College.


Manager – Student Services


The School also wishes to appoint a person to co-ordinate the support services and student placements. The position involves establishing and liaising with supervisors, placement organisations, involvement in registration processes and bodies, as well as participation in information evenings. The successful candidate will possess business and organisation skills, preferably in the education sector. 


Psychologist – Clinic Manager - Western Suburbs


The Institute is seeking to appoint a registered psychologist to develop and head a new low cost counselling centre.  The position includes supervision of a small group of psychology interns, and requires active engagement with community organisations and referral sources.
