Focussed Psychological Services:

Our focussed psychological services take a different approach to practice. It is called Contextual Modular Therapy and we have been practicing it for more than 25 years.

It has helped many people. Not only do they comment on the different approach, they express their satisfaction in being able to be active collaborators in this form of therapy.

It has a strong focus on helping individuals uncover their personality strengths as well as addressing their current issues. Contextual Modular Therapy has been effective in treating a range of personal and relationship problems, including children and family problems.

If you or members of your family are troubled by problem gambling, we invite you to participate in six sessions of FREE  individual counselling as part of our major research project.  The process can assist in getting on top of negativity, dealing with frustration, reducing feelings of abandonment and lead to more effective coping methods.

Social Anxiety and Depression Group

This group will be of benefit to people who experience feelings of anxiety and depression. 

It will provide each individual with the opportunity to explore these feelings in a small group setting with other people with similar concerns as their own. 

The group provides individuals with the ability to discuss their issues, share their concerns and encourages a sense of belonging and acceptance. 

Such an experience helps everyone in the group validate their own and each other’s issues. 

Run by two highly experienced psychologists, Judith Cahill and Robyn Gordon, the group will run for ten weeks.
