Group Therapy is a technique used by Psychologists at Cairnmillar. It is generally effective because human beings are born in groups and live in groups, thus making them predisposed to working in groups.

Cairnmillar’s Group Therapy is set up so that a small group of people meet under the guidance of one of our professionally trained psychologists. At each session the group is provided with knowledge and skills to enable them to help themselves and one another.

Groups are sometimes run for people in the same situation or crisis (e.g. groups for bereave parents) but usually groups are mixed.

Please contact Cairnmillar for futher information.
