Dr Francis Macnab

Dr Macnab, the founder and Executive Director of Cairnmillar, is a registered Psychologist and Fellow of the Australian Psychological Society. He was honored as a member of The Order of Australia 1992.

He holds two honorary doctorates from Aberdeen University, Scotland and RMIT University. He is also the former President of the International Council of Psychologists and one time Research Fellow, Aberdeen University.

In his distinguished career Dr Macnab has received many awards including:

  • The Melbourne Rotary Award, Vocational Service Award
  • The Equity Trustees CEO Award
  • The Sir James Darling Medal
  • The Psi Chi National Honour Society of the American Psychological Association

He has been a keynote speaker and guest lecturer in several countries as well as various centres in Australia. He has written some 26 books. These books include:
