Employee Assistance Program

Cairnmillar’s Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) are provided by our highly trained professional psychologists and counsellors who can assist in the resolution of workplace issues.

EAP offers short-term counselling which aims to help employees deal with personal and professional issues that impact on their performance in the workplace and in the home. The aim is to promote better communication, enhance wellbeing, increase motivation, and foster better relationships with co-workers and in their personal lives.

Referral services can often be sourced for clients and their household members who continue to require assistance beyond the session numbers designated in the EAP agreement.

We can also offer organisational services as part of an EAP, such as: staff wellbeing conversations, supervision, coaching, team building, debriefing and training.

For Clients

If you are interested in accessing EAP sessions, please contact our clinic admin team via phone, email or the request an appointment function below.

When contacting us, please state that you are accessing an EAP service and the name of your employer, so that our admin team can provide you appropriate booking information.

Most of our clinicians can provide flexible options for telehealth or in-person sessions.

Please note that your organisation will have already signed an agreement with the Cairnmillar Clinic which states a maximum number of sessions available during each calendar year. Additional sessions may be able to be accessed, however this should be discussed with your clinician and employer directly.

For Organisations

The Cairnmillar Clinic is currently accepting new enquiries for EAP agreements.

Some of the organisations we work with who offering an EAP to their employees, report benefits in areas such as team performance, a decrease in staff turnover and burn out, as well as improved staff wellbeing.

If you are interested in entering into an EAP agreement with the Cairnmillar Clinic, a formalised Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and contract is required.

Please contact our clinic admin team via email at [email protected], with the following information:

  • Organisation name
  • Main contact details
  • Approximate organisation size (in staff)
  • Brief description of your needs

Our clinic coordinator will then contact you to assist in setting up a meeting to further discuss agreement options.
