Breast Cancer

Cairnmillar psychologists offer therapy to patients with breast cancer. Our psychologists recently prepared a research paper on “The effectiveness of applying Contextual Modular Therapy (CMT) to a patient with breast cancer”. This paper has been submitted for presentation at the Annual Australian Psychological Society (APS) Conference and will also be submitted for publication.

Cairnmillar is about to begin a study on the effectiveness of group psychotherapy for women with breast cancer. Our support groups will start soon and our psychologists will conduct research to measure the effectiveness of those groups. Expressions of interest welcome.
