Admission Criteria Expand Students will be eligible for admission into the program if they have achieved a minimum average of 65 across all years of a recognised AQF Level 7 undergraduate degree. For entry into the course, students are required to submit an application through the Apply Now page, with certified or original scanned copies of the following supporting documentation: Most recent academic transcripts Proof of residency/citizenship (e.g. passport, birth certificate, or citizenship certificate).

Course Duration and Structure Expand The Graduate Diploma of Psychological Science course has been designed to be completed full time over a year or part time over two years. The entire course consists of 100 credit points, equally distributed across eight core units. Professional Recognition Expand The Graduate Diploma of Psychological Science is an Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC) accredited program. On completion of the course, graduates will be eligible to: Apply for entry into the Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) program or an equivalent APAC accredited fourth year program.
Recognition of Prior Learning Expand Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is a process where a student may be granted credit or partial credit towards a qualification in recognition of previous experience. Credit or partial credit towards a qualification cannot be granted in recognition of skills and knowledge gained through work experience unless students can demonstrate that they have been assessed on the competencies. Conditions for RPL are specified in the Cairnmillar Institute RPL Policy.
