The Cairnmillar Institute is offering an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and passionate front-line administrator to join our growing and busy clinical practice across our 4 clinics (Hawthorn East, North Melbourne, Dandenong and CBD). Work in a cohesive admin team to provide exceptional customer service and a quality experience for clients, clinic staff and clinic placement students. In addition to undertaking mainstream reception duties, you will be supporting a range of clinic administrative tasks.

Established over 60 years ago, the Cairnmillar Institute is a not-for-profit organisation that is solely focused on the advancement of better mental health through education, research and treatment in the field of psychology, counselling and psychotherapy.

Cairnmillar is now one of the largest trainers of postgraduate psychologists and counsellors in Australia. We offer an excellent range of clinic services across our four clinic sites, as well as remote access.

About You

You are a natural organiser and administrator who has a passion for client interaction and excellence in service. You are interested in the field of mental health and helping others connect to the assistance they need whilst respecting and protecting their privacy and potential vulnerability. You have strong communication skills and enjoy being adaptable whilst managing interpersonal relationships with clinicians, student clinicians and clients. You ideally have had previous experience working within a clinical environment, managing bookings, billing and exposure to Medicare claiming. You are highly computer literate and love using your knowledge to improve efficiency.
