Placements C and D will occur in a range of settings and as such the activities that students will undertake will vary. All placement activities should support the student in acquiring the APAC graduate professional competencies. Primarily, these competencies will include therapeutic relationship skills, psychological assessment, formulation, diagnostics, intervention design, delivery and evaluation. Placement C is approximately 40-45 days in length and students should aim to obtain 140-160 direct client contact hours. Placement D is approximately 45-40 days in length and students should aim to obtain 140-160 direct client contact hours.
