Clinical Expertise
Child and Adolescent Psychology:
- Social emotional and cognitive understanding for ages and abilities from infancy through to early adulthood
- Cognitive assessments and recommendations to support students’ individual learning needs
- School Psychology experience including working with Teachers, Principals, and the wider school system
- School refusal, Neurodiversity (ADHD, ASD, OCD), depression, anxiety, bullying, stress, anger management, social difficulties, behavioural issues, family separation or conflict, coping with change and life adjustments
About
Jacqui is an experienced and dedicated Psychologist who is passionate about the mental health needs of all members of our community. As a Board Approved Supervisor, Jacqui excels at translating evidence-based practices and research into preventative and clinical practice, whilst supporting the growth of the mental health workforce.
Jacqui has worked clinically in Canada, England and Australia in public mental health, preventative mental health research, the education sector, not-for-profit, and private practice. A key area of Jacqui’s focus is the treatment of moderate to severe mental health concerns for young people (infant to 25 years). Having worked in paediatrics amongst diverse cultures and communities, Jacqui holds exceptional stakeholder engagement skills necessary to develop collaborative and productive relationships.
Jacqui’s research experience includes designing and implementing an online program aimed at preventing depression and anxiety in adolescents. As a Unit Coordinator, Jacqui is an effective communicator and her collaborative approach ensure quality teaching and learning.
