Who We Are Our Staff Associate Professor Roseanne Misajon Senior Lecturer and Course Coordinator - Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) PhD BA (Hons) BSc GCertHEd Associate Professor RoseAnne Misajon joined the academic team at the Cairnmillar Institute in 2017. Prior to that, she worked as a Research Fellow at the Centre for Eye Research Australia (University of Melbourne) and the Key Centre for Women’s Health (University of Melbourne), and as a Senior Lecturer at Monash University. RoseAnne completed her PhD in Psychology at Deakin University, and is a registered psychologist. Areas of expertise Well-being, Qualitative research methods, Chronic illness, Cultural issues, Refugees. Research Interests Her research focuses on the understanding of wellbeing among disadvantaged and marginalised communities across different cultural settings, particularly working with people with a chronic health condition or disability, as well as migrant and refugee communities. Her key research interests include subjective wellbeing, health-related quality of life, psychometrics and scale development, experiences of prejudice, social inclusion and culturally diverse populations.
