John Rebullida

John is a lecturer teaching the undergraduate Behavioural Psychology and Learning unit and provides valuable insight in how theory and practice complement each other in the world of applied behaviour analysis (ABA) and positive behaviour support (PBS).

Since 2014, John has been working in the disability sector with toddlers, children, adolescents, and young adults. He has implemented a variety of ABA programs, such as early intervention intensive discrete trial training (DTT), pivotal response treatment (PRT) in naturalistic environments, and verbal behaviour (VB) in speech-based programs. He started his early career as a junior behaviour therapist with the Lizard Centre in Sydney and later became an independent behaviour therapist. John identified a demand for qualified and committed behaviour therapists and so he founded his own company (The Sky’s The Limit Behaviour Services) with the mission to train, connect, and support dedicated therapists. The company services Sydney and Melbourne metro areas and employs a team of passionate therapists.

Following his passion helping vulnerable populations, John has worked in Child Protection with the NSW Department of Communities and Justice, he worked as case manager for children in foster care before moving to Victoria, and he recently worked at the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission in the positive behaviour support (PBS) space in Victoria auditing behaviour support plans and promoting best practice in behaviour management. John recently acquired a role as a Behaviour Support Consultant for a not-for-profit organisation providing comprehensive psychometric assessments and behavioural analysis to design, implement, and review behaviour support plan strategies in accordance with the NDIS practice standards relating to regulated restrictive practices.
