Biliana teaches Counselling and Psychotherapy program units on Facilitating Therapeutic Change and Interpersonal Processes in psychotherapy. She previously developed and taught units on Ethics and Professional Practice and Assessment Process in Counselling and Psychotherapy.

Ms Biliana Dearly is a psychotherapist, registered clinical counsellor and supervisor with extensive experience working with people presenting with various mental health problems, traumas, life transitions and relationship difficulties.
Biliana’s approach to counselling and psychotherapy is humanistic and process-experiential, focused on the present client experiencing and exploring all existential and relational problems. Her practice is informed by her extensive training in Emotion Focused Therapy, Focusing-Oriented Therapy, Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy, and Jungian depth psychology. She has worked as a lecturer in counselling and psychotherapy undergraduate and postgraduate programmes since 2010 and contributed to program innovation, development, and coordination.
Ms Biliana Dearly is a certified FOT therapist, trainer, and Certifying Coordinator for The International Focusing Institute, New York. She is PACFA accredited clinical supervisor. She served as the Chair of the PACFA Education Program Accreditation Committee.
