About

Gerke is a clinical psychologist with well over 15 years of clinical experience since completing her doctorate and a Board Approved Supervisor with AHPRA.

She has worked in a range of clinical settings including, inpatient psychiatric hospital, research institutes, private psychiatric hospital programs, community health settings, non-for-profit organisations, adolescent forensic health settings, while throughout she always also worked in group private practice. She has worked in metropolitan and rural and remote Australia, and overseas in the UK.

Gerke is passionate about supporting and training the next generation of psychologists and has enjoyed her role as a placement supervisor in the MPPP internship year for four years at Cairnmillar. More recently, she has enjoyed clinical supervision in the Clinical Masters Program as well in the Post Registration Clinical Masters, as well as her role as Placement Coordinator and placement supervisor in the MPP program.
