About

Before joining Cairnmillar in 2020, Jo worked as a researcher in the Australian public and private healthcare sectors, including roles with Monash University (Department of Psychiatry; Cochrane Australia; ANZ Intensive Care Research Centre) and the Psycho-Oncology Unit, Cabrini Institute. Jo’s research interests include health psychology, with a focus on biopsychosocial factors that influence the wellbeing of people living with chronic physical conditions.  Jo is also passionate about inclusivity and diversity research and is currently involved in qualitative studies on the psychosocial wellbeing of refugees and gender diverse people.
