About

Kate is a registered Clinical Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). She has worked across a wide range of clinical settings including private practice (Headspace), schools, prisons and the Barwon Centre Against Sexual Assault (CASA). These roles have sharpened her interest in early intervention as a means to provide support prior to maladaptive patterns becoming entrenched.

The perinatal period remains an area that Kate is passionate about and she has continued to work with new parents and young children in public health at the O’Connell Family Centre. As a board approved supervisor, Kate has provided supervision for provisional psychologists, post registration clinical psychology students and clinical psychology registrars through the Cairnmillar Institute.
