Shaelyn uses a client-centred approach with her clients and believes an open and honest relationship between therapist and client is what leads to meaningful change. As a neurodivergent person and part of the LGBT+ community, Shaelyn is passionate about supporting marginalised populations who may experience additional invisible barriers during therapy which may not be immediately apparent to others. Shaelyn also has a special interest in working with women, and people in sex work and/or related industries.

Shaelyn is currently completing her Master of Psychology (Clinical Psychology) at the Cairnmillar Institute. Shaelyn has a background in Positive Behaviour Support, previously working as a Registered Behaviour Support Practitioner under the NDIS with participants across the lifespan. Shaelyn also has extensive experience working with children and adolescents, both through psychological services and sport coaching.
