About Susan

Susan believes in the importance of establishing therapeutic alliances in order to work effectively with a wide range of adult and child clients. She adopts a friendly, engaged and non-judgmental approach and uses a range of evidence based interventions such as; cognitive behaviour therapy, interpersonal therapy, mindfulness based interventions, family based interventions and psycho education. She also tends to ‘think outside the box’ and uses more creative approaches.

Background and Experience

Susan has worked for over 16 years across Australia in a number of organisations ranging from non-profit organisations and corporate environments, to school and tertiary environments, private practice and public health where she has worked across the lifespan with clients with complex mental health and physical health conditions.

Susan has specialist skills in working with children and adolescents and has worked with issues such as depression and anxiety, trauma, family separation, grief, abuse, relationship and behaviour difficulties and her particular passion is working with parents.
