Master of Professional Psychology – Online
The Master of Professional Psychology (MPP) represents the first year of the ‘5+1’ pathway to general registration as a psychologist. The course prepares selected graduates of an APAC accredited fourth year course in psychology, who are eligible for registration as a provisional psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia (PsyBA), to meet the core capabilities and attributes required to practice.
This course is now available online. Students can either undertake the units at the Hawthorn East Campus or via online.
Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) – Online
The Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) is an APAC accredited fourth year psychology program. This course includes theoretical and professional-focused training to prepare students for provisional registration with the Psychology Board of Australia, upon subsequent enrolment in a Master of Psychology training program. Graduates are eligible to apply for APAC accredited masters-level psychology training programs.

Master of Child, Youth and Family Mental Health
The Master of Child, Youth, and Family Mental Health provides students with high level training in assessment and therapeutic modalities and interventions for working with children, youth, and families.
Semester 2 2024
Graduate Certificate of Child, Youth and Family Mental Health
The Graduate Certificate of Child, Youth, and Family Mental Health introduces students to working with children, youth, and families to promote mental health. The course is designed with a holistic and systemic approach to mental health in mind, which incorporates prevention and early intervention. Students will be trained in foundational skills required to practice counselling within a child, youth, and family context.

Graduate Diploma of Child, Youth and Family Mental Health
The Graduate Diploma of Child, Youth, and Family Mental Health provides students with training in assessment and therapeutic modalities and interventions for working with children, youth, and families.
The course is designed with a holistic and systemic approach to mental health in mind, which incorporates prevention, early intervention, and treatment.

Graduate Diploma of Psychological Science
The Graduate Diploma of Psychological Science is a one-year bridging program. Meeting requirements for a foundational sequence of training in psychology, graduates from this course are eligible to apply for an APAC accredited fourth year of study in psychology. The Graduate Diploma serves as a ‘fast-track’ 8-unit sequence for those who hold an AQF level 7 undergraduate degree and wish to pursue a career or further study in psychology.

Graduate Certificate of Psychological Science
The Graduate Certificate of Psychological Science has been designed for students looking to take the first or early steps on the pathway to a career in psychology. This course provides an alternative pathway to entering the Graduate Diploma for of Psychological Science at Cairnmillar via a fast-tracked 4-unit sequence of study.

Master of Clinical Psychology (Post-Registration)
An online program designed for those who already hold general registration as a psychologist, the Master of Clinical Psychology (Post-Registration) is a standalone AQF level 9 program leading to professional competencies in clinical psychology.
