About
Dr Moulding is an Associate Professor and course coordinator of the Master of Psychology (Clinical). He has a BSc(Hons) in psychology, as well as a Masters and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology. He is an endorsed clinical psychologist and a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and is currently a member of the committee of the Clinical College of the APS in his role as Editor in Chief of the journal Clinical Psychologist.
Richard has previously been a chief investigator on a NHMRC randomised controlled trial examining the effectiveness and cost-effectiveness of a novel online treatment for Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, and a chief investigator on a NSW government grant disseminating novel treatments for comorbid anxiety/depression and substance use disorders. He has also previously been a volunteer committee member of the community mutual self-help group, the Anxiety Recovery Centre Victoria, for a seven-year period. He set up a Hoarding Disorder treatment program at Swinburne University. He is interested in the Anxiety and OCD-Related Disorders, Emotion Regulation, and self-concept.
