Cristian has experience working with a variety of presentations and has worked with adults and adolescents on issues including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, self-esteem, resilience, assertiveness, coping, sleep issues, drug and alcohol issues, and addictive behaviours.
Alex is an experienced clinician and researcher who is particularly passionate about healthy cognitive ageing, and the treatment of people with or at risk of dementia. He is a leading Australian and international authority on cognitive interventions for older people, and his work informed clinical practice guidelines in Australia and beyond.
Kim is an AHPRA registered psychologist who is passionate about helping people of all ages and backgrounds with their mental health and well-being by providing a safe and nurturing environment. She adopts a warm and collaborative approach in her practice.
Alex (she/her) is currently studying a Master of Counselling and Psychotherapy (CMI) and is a student counsellor completing her placement at the Cairnmillar Community Clinic in Hawthorn. Alex believes the counselling relationship is based on collaboration, listening, support and care for whatever may be concerning the client.
Senior Psychologist & Family Therapist
Michelle is a Counselling Psychologist and Clinical Family Therapist who works with children, adults, couples, and families. Michelle tailors her approach and supports clients to connect with their strengths as they work towards their goals.
Rachael is an Educational and Developmental Psychologist who aims to develop a genuine therapeutic rapport with her clients and provide a safe, reflective space in which they feel heard and understood. She offers a person-centred approach and works collaboratively with clients to achieve their goals.
Laetitia brings a warm, empathetic, and collaborative approach to her work with clients. She strives to create a nurturing space in which clients feel safe to share their current difficulties and work towards individualised goals that result in meaningful change.
Matthew is a provisional psychologist who has experience working with children and adults. He is passionate about working with clients from diverse backgrounds and believes it is important to develop a strong therapeutic relationship with his clients.
Claudia is a provisional psychologist who is currently completing a Master of Psychology (Clinical Psychology) at the Cairnmillar Institute. Claudia has completed a Bachelor of Psychological Science and Graduate Diploma of Psychology at Deakin University.
Senior Clinical Psychologist
Dr Joseph Sakdalan is an AHPRA Registered Psychologist with endorsements in clinical psychology, counselling psychology and clinical neuropsychology. He is a member of the Australian Psychological Society and the APS College of Clinical Psychologists and Clinical Neuropsychologists.
Imogene is an AHPRA registered psychologist and clinical psychology registrar. She works to create a safe space for clients by being compassionate, trauma-informed and neuro-affirming. Imogene tailors her approach and draws on a range of evidence-based therapy modalities to support clients in working toward their goals.
Nimasha (She/Her) is a provisional psychologist currently completing the Master of Clinical Psychology at the Cairnmillar Institute. She enjoys working collaboratively with people of all ages, sexualities, gender identities and across cultural communities.
Darcy (he/him) is a provisional psychologist who is completing their placement within the Cairnmillar Clinics. Darcy utilises a warm, empathic and non-judgmental interpersonal style to connect and communicate with his clients, whilst empowering them to identify areas for development and treatment goals.
