Research Expertise

Currently Michele has focused on the impact that the Covid 19 pandemic has had on those with needle phobia receiving their vaccine and medical receptionists who have been part of front-line workers throughout the recent lock downs.

Previously, Michele has had a strong interest in the impact that the premature birth has on a mother’s level of anxiety and subsequent postpartum depression.

About

Dr Michele Bell is a Clinical Psychologist and Board Approved Supervisor working with students at CMI undertaking their Doctorate or Master of Clinical Psychology programs. She is also supervising students in their internships in the Master of Professional Psychological Practice and has supervised psychologists applying for their clinical endorsement.

In addition to supervising students on various placements, Dr Michele Bell is a private clinician at Monash University Health Services treating adults presenting with trauma, PTSD, anxiety and depression disorders and personality disorders.
