Tuning Relationships with Music – November 2024
November 18, 2024 @ 9:15 am - November 20, 2024 @ 4:30 pm
About The Training
Tuning Relationships with Music® (TRM) is an evidence-informed family therapy for parents who have experienced trauma and their children, designed to help them have the attuned, connected relationship they long to have with each other. Musical exercises help families to learn safe ways of communicating, and to manage conflict in respectful, healthy ways. Benefits of the training include:
- Reducing conflict and improving parent-child relationships.
- Use of musical exercises that focus on non-verbal, somatic & mindfulness-based skills.
- Provides Mental Health Professionals a practical intervention for their toolkit.
- Professionals and families do NOT have to have any musical training to take part or deliver TRM.
The 21 hours of training are presented in two components:
- Component One: Webinar and Pre-Reading (3 hours).
- Component Two: Clinical Training (18 hours across 3 days).
This workshop is endorsed by the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA) for 21 active CPD points.
