Since 1961, The Cairnmillar Institute has been a pioneering force in the development of psychology, counselling, and psychotherapy as professions through workforce education and service delivery. in Australia. As we look toward the future, our mission has never been more vital. I am proud to share our Strategic Plan 2025–2030, a roadmap that reaffirms our commitment to building a mentally healthy and resilient Australia.
We are currently at a defining moment in our history. As a $20+ million organisation, we are not just growing; we are evolving. A primary focus of this new strategy is our transition toward University College, a milestone that will allow us to further elevate the quality of mental health education in this country, while leading the way in building a high-quality and effective mental health workforce through education, services, and professional support. Our pioneering spirit continues with the creation of innovative programs that address Australia’s evolving mental health needs.
