Monique has clinical experience working with adults, families, and children across a broad range of presentations, including anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, relationship and interpersonal difficulties, emotional dysregulation, self-esteem concerns, suicidal ideation and problematic alcohol and other drug (AOD) use.

Monique offers an empathetic, client-centred and strengths-based approach, working collaboratively with clients to promote meaningful, lasting change aligned with their goals. She tailors her approach to suit the individual, drawing from evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including:

– Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)

About

Monique is an AHPRA-registered Provisional Psychologist currently completing her Master of Psychology (Clinical Psychology). Monique’s studies have provided a strong foundation in psychological theory as well as forensic psychology. She has experience supporting individuals with complex mental health needs and building capacity within the NDIS, working within a recovery-oriented framework to promote functional outcomes and wellbeing. She has also worked with children to enhance their learning and psychological functioning through therapeutic support and cognitive assessment. Additionally, she has experience supporting individuals experiencing alcohol and other drug (AOD) concerns and addiction, including those with offending behaviours engaged in mandated treatment. Across these roles, she has worked with a broad range of presentations, including anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, relationship and interpersonal difficulties, emotional dysregulation, and self-esteem concerns.
