    Schedule A: Schedule of Outcomes

    1. Unsatisfactory Progress

    1.1. This Schedule outlines possible outcomes of a panel hearing related to the academic progress of a student enrolled in a course of study, where it has been deemed by the panel that the student’s progress is unsatisfactory. The outcome may include one, or more of the following:

      1. Extension may be granted.
      2. Alternative assessment.
      3. Change of placement or research supervisor.
      4. Conditions set for continuation, such as provision of additional medical or other evidence.
      5. Make formal recommendations which are not conditions, such as lowering working hours.
      6. Refer the student for personal counselling or mental health support or assessment Variation to course enrolment, such as part-time enrolment.
      7. Suspension for a period of no less than six months or one semester.
      8. A combination of the above options.
      9. Exclusion from the course.
