    1. Purpose of this policy

    The purpose of this policy is to ensure that future generations will enjoy environmental, social and economic conditions that are equal to or better than those enjoyed by the present generation.

    2. Scope

    This policy applies to all Institute employees, students, volunteers, contractors, and visitors.

    3. Policy

    3.1. The Institute recognises its responsibility to provide and keep good environmental
    conditions for all employees, students, contractors, clients, and visitors by:

    1. Planning for and maintaining sustainability.
    2. Establishing and supporting a sustainability committee.
    3. Ensuring effective waste management practices are upheld.
    4. Engaging staff and students in sustainability initiatives.
    5. Monitoring sustainability performance and ensure reporting processes are functional.

    4. Responsibilities

    4.1. Staff will:

    1. Comply with this policy.
    2. Respond appropriately to sustainability initiatives.
    3. Include environmental and sustainable issues where appropriate in their teaching.

    4.2. Students will:

    1. Comply with this policy.
    2. Respond appropriately to sustainability initiatives.
