Sustainability Management Procedures
1. Preamble
These procedures outline process for developing and maintaining a sustainable environment at the Cairnmillar Institute.
2. Procedures
2.1 Functions of the Sustainability Committee
2.1.1. The sustainability committee (the committee) will abide by its Terms of Reference.
2.1.2. The committee will initiate, implement, and monitor environmentally sustainable activities.
2.1.3. Where possible, the committee will seek input on sustainable matters from staff and students of the Institute.
2.1.4. The committee will keep informed of sustainability matters relevant to the Institute to be able to update and educate staff and students.
2.1.5. The committee will provide a quarterly report to the Executive of Cairnmillar on sustainability issues and the activities of the committee.
