Adam Ziger

Clinical Expertise

Adam’s clinical interests include anxiety disorders, eating disorders body image concerns, health and behavior change, as well as men’s issues.

Treatment Approaches

Adam has a strong interest in CBT and ACT as frameworks for supporting clients in achieving their goals. He is committed to practising in a way that is person-centred, culturally responsive, and evidence-based.

About

Adam has experience supporting individuals across mental health settings, including as a Helpline Support Operator at the Anxiety Recovery Centre Victoria (ARCVIC) and as a Youth Mentor at Raise Foundation. He also works as an academic tutor at Murrup Barak, Melbourne University’s Indigenous engagement and development centre, where he supports Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students across psychology and statistics units. He previously studied the links between moral personality traits and prosocial behavior.
