About

Alex is a student counsellor with a background in disability support work, marketing and videography. Having spent his life surrounded by people from a wide range of cultures, ages and walks of life, he developed a deep respect for individuality, something his years in disability support work only strengthened. After completing a business degree, he made the decision to pursue counselling, drawn to the chance of support people in a meaningful way.

Alex spent four years working as a disability support worker, an experience that shaped much of how he works with people today. He supported clients through significant life transitions, including shifts in family, career and other relationships. This gave him a grounded understanding of what it takes to support someone through change. Alex also spent time helping to direct music videos and completed a Bachelor of Business majoring in marketing. Both experiences helped him develop skills in listening to others’ stories and communication.
