Currently serving as a Psychologist with the Australian Defence Force, Anindita provides evidence-based therapeutic interventions and comprehensive mental health support to established service members. Her clinical work is grounded in third-wave cognitive-behavioral approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), with particular expertise in working with anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, and Borderline Personality Disorder.

About

Prior to her current role, Anindita worked as a Mental Health Clinician at Goulburn Valley Area Mental Health Service, where she gained extensive experience conducting mental health evaluations and delivering evidence-based treatments for adults with severe and complex mental health conditions. She commenced specialized training in Mentalization-Based Therapy and developed group facilitation skills through participation in MBT group delivery for clients with Borderline Personality Disorder. Anindita holds dual Master’s degrees (MBA and Master of International Business) alongside her psychology qualifications, bringing organizational insight and professional maturity to her clinical practice. She is a member of the Australian Association of Psychologists Inc. (AAPI) and is passionate about collaborative, recovery-oriented care that integrates trauma-informed principles with evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
