Michael works from a humanistic perspective and incorporates aspects of cognitive behavioural therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy and psychodynamic treatment into his work with clients.

About

Michael is a Clinical Psychologist with a commitment to helping people find contentment and happiness within themselves. Michael is compassionate and understanding and is very supportive of his clients. He frequently works with professionals or those who have attained a degree of success in certain aspects of their life but nevertheless continues to experience emotional barriers such as anxiety, fear and low self-esteem. Michael works with adults and late adolescents. He does not currently see clients who are acutely suicidal.

Michael has over 10 years’ experience as a practicing psychologist. He has worked both in private practice and academia and is a board approved supervisor for provisional psychologists. He has previously been the Course Coordinator for the Doctor of Clinical Psychology at the Cairnmillar Institute and has several articles published in academic journals.
