About
As a provider of Focused Psychological Strategies under Medicare (AMHSW) and a registered Clinical Counsellor and Psychotherapist with PACFA, she brings many years of training, teaching, and clinical practice across healthcare and mental health sectors. Her practice, research and capacity building experience has given her a nuanced understanding of evolving digital ecosystems and the diverse needs of both learners and clients. She is deeply committed to fostering the development of undergraduate and postgraduate students, approaching education through reflective, ecological, and person-centred frameworks that support meaningful skill acquisition.  With an international career spanning more than 25 years, she has built a strong reputation for advancing collaborative decision-making and enhancing consumer participation within mental health services. Her telemental health PhD research further demonstrates her commitment to advance person-centred care. Through the development and evaluation of an ethical e-collaboration innovation, she has shown how thoughtfully designed digital practices can foster transparency, strengthen communication, and support recovery-focused approaches to critical decision-making and care coordination across complex and often siloed healthcare.  She takes pride in delivering high-quality learning experiences across both face-to-face and online formats, ensuring accessibility and engagement for a wide range of learners. Her strengths lie in developing and facilitating trauma-informed curricula and advancing best practices for multidisciplinary workforces. Her work consistently centres on empowering the voices and experiences of consumers, ensuring that service delivery evolves in ways that are inclusive, transparent, developmentally appropriate and grounded in lived experience.
