Melisa’s professional background includes extensive experience in leadership, risk management, and stakeholder engagement across complex organisational settings. She has supervised multidisciplinary teams, managed high-risk situations, and implemented safety and emergency response protocols.

These experiences have strengthened her communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills, which are highly transferable to clinical practice. Melisa brings a structured and client-focused approach to my work, with an emphasis on professionalism, ethical decision-making, and collaborative care.

Melisa offers a warm, client-centred, and collaborative approach, working with individuals to build on their strengths and support meaningful change. She draws on evidence-based therapies, particularly Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and tailors her approach to meet each person’s unique needs. Mel has an interest in supporting individuals experiencing anxiety, mood, stress-related difficulties, and grief, and is committed to providing inclusive, respectful, and psychologically informed care.

Melisa has a developing interest in supporting adults experiencing anxiety, mood, and stress-related difficulties, and adopts a client-centred, evidence-based approach to care. Her clinical work is informed by cognitive behavioural principles, with an emphasis on collaboration, psychoeducation, and practical skill development.

 

Alongside her training, Melisa brings extensive experience working closely with people across organisational settings, including collaboration with human resources and supporting staff wellbeing, communication, and problem resolution. This background has strengthened her ability to build rapport, navigate sensitive situations, and work effectively with diverse individuals. She is committed to ethical practice, reflective learning, and providing supportive, structured, and person-centred care.
