Educational settings (university counselling services/ secondary college)- individual assessments and intervention as well as facilitated therapeutic groups (Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) for academic success and depression) and run a series of brief focused workshops (preventative and treatment).
Public and community mental health (child and adolescent clinical research programs with Monash University); community work in the area of eating disorders as well as secondary consultation (as an Eating Disorders Senior Clinician with Melbourne Health)

Most recently (past 10 years) I have worked as a university lecturer, providing supervision and coordinating placements within postgraduate psychology training programs.
About
Nicola is a counselling psychologist and board approved supervisor who has worked with clients in a broad range of settings including university counselling services, public and community mental health, child and adolescent clinical research programs and private practice settings.
In the various roles, she has provided individual assessments and intervention, secondary consultation (as an Eating Disorders Senior Clinician) as well as facilitated therapeutic groups (Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) for academic success and depression) and run a series of brief focused workshops (preventative and treatment). Although she adopts and integrative approach, she has a particular interest in working with mindfulness and ACT modalities. For the past ten years she has enjoyed working as a university lecturer, providing supervision and coordinating placements within postgraduate psychology training programs.
