Saskia values taking the time to understand what matters most to each client. She strives to create a safe, inclusive, and compassionate space where clients feel understood and empowered to work towards what they hope to achieve in therapy. Her background includes providing mental health support in counselling and crisis settings for individuals across the lifespan.

Treatment Approaches

Saskia uses a warm, collaborative, and client-centred approach, recognising the importance of tailoring therapy to each person’s needs, values, and goals. She has a particular interest in attachment, trauma, interpersonal relationships, and identity, and how these experiences shape wellbeing. Her practice draws on evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), alongside attachment-informed and trauma-informed principles.

Saskia is a provisional psychologist completing a Master of Psychology (Clinical) at The Cairnmillar Institute. She brings experience across generalist and crisis counselling settings, mental health support work, and peer support roles. She has supported adolescents, young adults, and adults, and values creating safe and inclusive spaces where people feel heard, respected, and supported.
