Clinical Expertise

Stacey has strong skills in assessment, differential diagnosis and therapeutic support of neuro-developmental concerns, particularly within the paediatric period. Her primary clinical interest area is the assessment of autism (and comorbidities) in early childhood, and this remains the focus of her client work, clinical supervision and postgraduate teaching.

Treatment Approaches

Stacey is a neuro-affirming psychologist and believes this to be a non-negotiable approach to practice. She is client-centred with her formulation and treatment planning and uses this as foundation for her collaborative work with clients, caregivers and third-party support (such as teachers and paediatricians.) Stacey is largely influenced by MI and ACT but believes the beauty of working with young clients is staying flexible and open to what individual approach might work for them (often this is supported by glitter, dinosaurs, and Thomas the Tank Engine discussions!)
