Treatment Approaches

Zoe works within the fundamentals of Person-Centered Therapy (PCT) with a strong focus on the therapeutic relationship. She is also trained in Focusing Oriented Therapy (FOT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). With strong interest in Existential Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy, Jungian dream-work and Eco Psychotherapy.

Zoe believes that with deeply empathetic support, difficulty in life experiences such as disappointment, depression, anxiety, stress and overwhelm, emotional numbness, confusion, inner conflict, loss, grief, apathy, trauma, disconnection and loneliness, all open an opportunity for learning, healing and growth to finding a way to live a meaningful life.

 

Zoe has a particular interest in birth experience, birth preparation, birth trauma and early parenting, however, also recognises that the ‘maternal process’ is a universal one that is experienced in many aspects and cycles of all life. She works with LGBTQI + community, neurodiversity, and people from all language and cultural backgrounds.

Bachelor of Nursing
Postgraduate Diploma of Midwifery
