Thank you Francis Macnab for Your Life and Your Legacy
On the night of our 60th birthday celebration, a brilliant life and career came to an end with the death of our founder Emeritus Professor Francis Macnab AM. Living fully, loving his family, working therapeutically, and educating others, were the things he was passionate about. He was a lifelong scholar of theology, psychoanalysis, existentialism, music and the arts in his pursuit of understanding, enriching and strengthening his belief in human potential and emotional wellbeing.
In he reflected how the work of the Institute is testimony to the way therapeutic psychology and therapeutic spirituality can become a comprehensive healing of the mind and spirit. His was a life well lived in which he generously inspired, instructed and delighted. We were privileged to learn with him and from him. This gifted man will be much mourned by people here and around the world whose lives were touched by him. His rich legacy continues.
A memorial service to celebrate the life of Emeritus Professor Francis Macnab AM will be held at 2.30pm on Sunday 4th June, at St Michael’s Uniting Church.
