Our Head of School together with the school staff are committed to providing a personalised education experience for all. The School has developed outstanding postgraduate courses and an excellent reputation in the education of psychologists, psychotherapists and counsellors.

The high quality of our postgraduate courses means that our graduates obtain the highest possible standards. Our former students speak appreciatively of their experiences at Cairnmillar. This reflects the fact that so many of our former students now hold leadership positions in the profession.

Cairnmillar also offers undergraduate and pathway courses. These options mean Cairnmillar now has several pathways for people to become psychologists, counsellors and psychotherapists.

Psychology Courses

Our psychology courses are run by high quality staff who all have considerable experience in educating practitioners.

The staff complement their clinical experience with high level qualifications and commitment to educating future practitioners. Our School is well known for arranging relevant, challenging work place experiences with excellent supervision. Our Masters in Counselling and Psychotherapy program is accredited by both The Psychotherapists and Counsellors Federation of Australia (PACFA), and the Australian Counselling Association (ACA). Our Graduate Diploma of Counselling and Psychotherapy is accredited by the ACA. Our courses are structured to support our students in reaching the highest standards and achieve their career goals.
